In this 7th–9th grade world geography and ecology curriculum, your student will explore the unique geography, ecosystems, and cultures of our planet through a literature-based, hands-on approach.

At the core of this curriculum are living books that immerse students in the stories of different cultures and global issues, fostering sympathy and character. Read about the division of India and Pakistan through the eyes of a girl living through one of the greatest human displacements in history. Each lesson incorporates geography topics like continents, oceans, biomes, and ecosystems. Students will understand physical geography, read maps, and analyze global environmental issues, discovering how local and global landscapes are interconnected.

Included is our beloved 18” x 24” world map for creative learning, where students label every country and add borders for newer nations like South Sudan and Kosovo. Critical thinking questions and 50+ hands-on activities explore ecosystems, soil health, pollution, biomes, and more.Students will experience cultural immersion through recipes, and online resources provide deeper exploration into the topics.
